ASBMF Spring Manicure Challenge Day 11: Eggs and Chicks

I had a hard time coming up with an idea for eggs and chicks. I felt like I used up all my ideas on my Easter manicures. I almost just painted my nails solid colors for this one just so I could move on to the next. Finally I came up with a simple nail art design. It reminds me of French tips.
Zoya, Jo, manicure, nail polish, swatch, light blue, metallic, frost, short nails, shimmer, mani, nails, lacquer, big 3 free, big 5 free, non-toxic, vegan, natural, nearly natural nails, my stash, Essie, matte about you, matte finish, cream, creme, nail art, french tip mani, french tips, Karma Hues, French white, white, yellow, Pippa, black, spiritual, street smart, solaris, eggs, chicks, Easter themed, Easter eggs, glossy
For my eggs and chicks mani I used:
Karma Organic "Milky Basecoat"
Zoya "Jo" (metallic, frost blue)
Karma Hues "French White" (cream white)
Zoya "Pippa" (bright yellow cream)
SpaRitual "Street Smart" (black cream)
SpaRitual "Solaris" (almost neon, orange cream)
I used 2 bundle monster dotting tools to make the eggs and the chicks and the eyes and beaks.
Zoya, Jo, manicure, nail polish, swatch, light blue, metallic, frost, short nails, shimmer, mani, nails, lacquer, big 3 free, big 5 free, non-toxic, vegan, natural, nearly natural nails, my stash, Essie, matte about you, matte finish, cream, creme, nail art, french tip mani, french tips, Karma Hues, French white, white, yellow, Pippa, black, spiritual, street smart, solaris, eggs, chicks, Easter themed, Easter eggs
I thought this eggs and chicks tips manicure would look great with a matte finish. The shimmer of Zoya "Jo" looks pretty topped with Essie "Matte About You".

Zoya "Jo" nail polish swatch.
If you are careful with application, you can get full coverage with 1 coat of "Jo".
I even touched up a couple of nails without doing a second coat on the entire nail. You can't even see the lines. To me that makes this an awesome polish. I did smudge the pinky and didn't realize it until after I took the pic. : ( Oh well. I think I need some speed dry drops of some kind. My nail drying always gets interrupted by kids or dog needing me to do something. When I don't get interrupted, I usually mess up at least one nail just by being impatient. : )
